The Government-General of Chōsen Building, also known as the Japanese General Government Building and the Seoul Capitol, was a building located in Jongno District of Seoul, South Korea, from 1926 to 1996. This photo, taken c.1955 shows the "burned and gutted" derelict building after the Korean war and before a full restoration in 1962.
